It passes below three adjacent Devon shops, so don't be fooled by the small entrance – this rather large mosque is home to a growing community of buyers who identify with Sufi orders such as the Qadiriyya and Shishi orders. Muslims of all types are welcomed but provides a safe space for Thursday night dhikr sessions led by Sufi scholar Qadri. Apart from Thursday nights, you can see this mosque to its fullest in remembrance (Urs) of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani or during the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal many celebrations are held in honor of the Prophet.
